പ്രമുഖ എയര്‍ലൈന്‍ കമ്പനിയായ Aer Litngus പുതിയ അപ്രന്റിസ്ഷിപ്പ് പ്രോഗ്രാമുകള്‍ക്ക് തുടക്കമിടുന്നു. എയര്‍ക്രാഫ്റ്റ് മെയിന്റനന്‍സ്, എഞ്ചിനിയറിംഗ് മേഖലകളിലാണ് പുതിയ അപ്രന്റിസ്ഷിപ്പ് പ്രോഗ്രാമുകള്‍ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. നാല് വര്‍ഷത്തേയ്ക്കുള്ള പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളാണ് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്.
OLAS -Further Education and Training Authority in Ireland ഉം Aer Lingus ന്റെ എഞ്ചിനിയറിംഗ് ആന്‍ഡ് മെയിന്റനന്‍സ് വിഭാഗവും സംയുക്തമായാണ് പ്രോഗ്രാം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. ഡബ്ലിന്‍ എയര്‍ പോര്‍ട്ടിലും ഷാനോന്‍ എയര്‍പോര്‍ട്ടിലുമായാണ് കോഴ്‌സ് നടത്തുന്നത്.
സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ 2023 ല്‍ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന ബാച്ചിലേയ്ക്കുള്ള അഡ്മിഷന്‍ ആരംഭിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു. തിയറിക്കും പ്രാക്ടിക്കലിനും ഒരു പോലെ പ്രാധാന്യം നല്‍കിയായിരികക്കും പ്രോഗ്രാം നടത്തുക. പ്രോഗ്രാമിലേയ്ക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങള്‍ ചുവടെ കൊടുക്കുന്നു.
Candidates must be 18 years of age by the 1st September 2023
Completed the Leaving Certificate Examinations in or before 2023 OR
Have attained or be in the process of attaining other recognised educational equivalent OR
Successful completion of an approved Pre-Apprenticeship course OR
Three years’ work experience gained over sixteen years of age in a relevant designated industrial activity as SOLAS shall deem acceptable
Candidates must be willing to attend training in Dublin and Shannon or other designated training centre and relocate as necessary for this training
Candidates must be fluent in English both written and spoken.
